Originally, project included smokebox and a portion of the fluesheet. Upon removal, wasted rivet heads for pedestal attachment were exposed. Balance of fluesheet was removed, along with the balance of the tubes, to allow room to replace pedestal rivets. As the pictures show. the strap rivets were also wasted on the inside. These were also replaced. The old thru-stays were welded into the new fluesheet and the welds covered with the original nuts. Project begun after Christmas 2005 and completed for the 2006 Sycamore Show.
